里山シェアハウス始動

綾部市東部の上林地区へ 移住して今年で8年。

数年前から移住者の受け入れのお手伝いや相談を受けていました。

よく聞くのが、住む場所・仕事・子供の学校・病院・農作業です。

そんな住居についてですが、購入物件は全空き家に対して少ないですが、まだ出てきています。ただ外からくるみとしてはまずは借りてすみたいところ。

ところが賃貸物件はなかなか出てきません。縁があって見つかる方がほとんどです。

綾部市の場合定住住宅がありますが、基本的に夫婦、子育て世代限定ということもあり、シャアハウスを作り単身の移住者の受け皿になりたいと思ったのが始まり。

昨年ご縁があって同じ中上林のとても良いお家を紹介していただきました。

内部もとても綺麗に使われていて、自分たちですぐにでもすみたいというくらいです

花咲くクチュール / Finally tulips blossom

チューリップがきれいに咲きました。
少しづつ花畑を拡張、花の種類の多様化を目指します。

Tulip are in bloom now at last.
We will expand flower field little by little, and increase kinds of flower.

出てきた！ It comes out!

昨年の5月に植えたアスパラガスが出てきました。

植えるまですぐできると思っていたアスパラガス。

よく調べたら、ものすごい時間かかるということで、

ちょっと放置してました。寒い冬が終わった頃、地表に出てる部分が

枯れていたので、もうダメかと思っていたら、緑の細いものが。。。

アスパラです！でたー

まだまだ細いので、通常のアスパラの太さになるまで、食べずに待っていたらよいのか
猿に食べられる前にたべようか迷い中。

We planted asparagus last year.
At first we didn't know that it takes several time to harvest.

So we just let them alone.
After long winter, the stem and leaf are exposed. then it looks like dead.

but recent spring weather & rain, there are green tiny thin asparagus came out.

Should we eat them yet or wait a few more day & week. I am just afraid that monkey eat them before we taste it.

じゃがいも作付 / Potato has planted ! 

やっとこジャガイモの作付完了しました。

後は猿除けをかんがえないとな～。
去年は、ほぼ全滅でした。

そして休憩は、外に椅子とテーブルを出してネット。

そう、ここ里山ゲスト　クチュールでは外でも
Ｗｉｆｉが届くのです。というか外の方が強い。

音楽ながしながら、畑作業～


Finally I planted all potatoes.

And then, I have to do something against monkeys.
Last year, they took almost all of potatoes.

At break time, I brought table and chair outside.
and net surfing.yes ! here in Satoyama Guesthouse Couture, it is wired outside.
or I can say it is stronger outside.

クチュール花壇

クチュール農園ではお花も育ててます。

まずは頂いたこの木(名前忘れた。分かる人いますか？)　→

そしてチューリップ、雪に埋もれ、雨水がたまり出るか心配していましたが、無事育ち、もうすぐ咲きそうです。

あと桃も咲いてます。

Since this year, we have started planting floor.

First of all, yellow floor (photo above) are in blossom. unfortunately I forgot the name.

and Tulips are almost in blooms because of recent warm weather.

and peach are full bloom to see now.

来年に向けて

またまた久々の更新です。

このところ、イベントや宿のことで、農作業はサボり気味でした。

おかげで畑は草ぼうぼう。

そこを何とか耕して種を撒いていたサラダ用野菜(ルッコラ)

が収穫できるようになりました。

また新たな畑を耕し、クチュール果樹園ができました。

現在、金柑とイチゴを植えてます。

来年6月イチゴ狩りが楽しみ。

For the next year

It has been a while since I wrote blog last time.

In October, it wss crazy busy month. I had event to take care.

and some work at the guesthouse.

Because of my laziness, my farmland was full of grass.

but the Italian salad mix (some vege for salad) grow and ready to hervest.

And also, I cultivate new land, which has been abandoned for a while,

I made Orchard Couture.

As a beginning, I plant Kumquat and strawberry.

can't wait for next June to hervest!

補助金 申請通過！/ Got subsidy !

久々のブログ更新

しばらく前ですが、京都府の『みやこ構想　セカンドステージ』という新規就農者向けの
補助金を申請し、無事に認可され、今週より、いよいよお風呂と洗面台の工事に入ります。
１～３月の時と同じ村上建設さんです。

It has been while!

I have finally received one of subsidy from Kyoto prefecture.
This is for the fresh farmer.
It is available for new farmer to make accommodation or cafe and so on.


Then from 18th, the construction of bathroom will be started by Murakami construction company.

農作業 5 / Farming 5

収穫

先日は獣害の被害にあいましたが、それでものこった玉ねぎを無事収穫。

キャベツは結構虫に食われている。丸々したチョウの幼虫がいっぱいでした。特に小さな苗をもらって雪が降る前に植付したものはあまり食べられていないですが、春に苗を買ってきて植えた方はよく食べられてます。この違いって？

昨日は最終的に、キャベツ×２、レタス×１、ブロッコリー×２、ピーマン×１　たまねぎ無数を収穫。

完全ほったらかし農業でよく育ったものだ。キャベツやブロッコリーはあるので、しばらくは野菜に困らないな。

Harvest

I got attack from monkeys. but I could harvest some onions.

and cabbage I planted before snow falled last year was time to be picked up.

Some cabbage was eaten by bugs.
I have picked up bugs for a while, but I forgotten recently.
That is why bugs became kind of huge.
I picked them up one by one.

Anyway, I had 2 Broccoli, 1 Cabbage, 1 Green bell pepper, 1 lettuce, and many onions.
I still have some cabbages and broccoli, then I won't worry about buying vegetable for a while.

獣害被害
初めて獣害被害にあいました。猿です。
玉ねぎがいくつか引っこ抜かれ、ジャガイモはほとんど掘り起こされました。。。

早速玉ねぎの畑の柵の上にネットを設置。
ジャガイモは残った物を美味しくいただき、根が残っているものは再度植えました。

他の場所も獣害対策をしなくては。

Animal Attacks

Last weekend, my farm got attack from monkey at the first time.
some of onions are picked up by them, and then most of potato are eaten.

soon I put net above the onion field. and I planted a few potato again
which is left over by monkeys.

I have to take care of some other field to keep animal away.

農作業3 / Farming 3

夏野菜作付

先日の続き、耕した新しい部分と畝の空いている所に新たな夏野菜を植えました。

宿から手前の畝にはピーマン５株とトマト２株、ミニトマト２株だったところへ
追加トマト２株、ズッキーニ２株

そしてその奥の畝にはアスパラガス２株。
ただしアスパラガスは実ができるまで１，２年はかかると後で気づいた。

さらにじゃがいもとキクイモの間には黒枝豆５株うえました。

他にはヤーコンや蓼藍も植えてます。

I have planted 5 green bell pepper and 2 tomato before.
and now new veg are coming.

There are 2 more tomato and 2 zucchini in front.
and then 2 asparagus.

Behind potatoes, there are 5 black soybean.

And else I planted 2 yacon (forgot taking phots) and indigo dye at the other parts of
my little farm.

クチュール農園の一部です。手前の畝にトマト(左)、ピーマン(右)で、奥にはジャガイモと一番奥にキクイモを作付けしてます。

　★キクイモはキク科の多年草で外来種。英語では
　　”エルサレムアーティチョーク”といいます。

新たに本日２か所耕作しました。

手前からピーマンとトマトの畝、新規耕作地、ジャガイモ、

新規耕作地、キクイモの順です。

藍染１

ここ綾部上林の水源の里市野瀬に暮らす方々はみなさん好奇心旺盛。

いろんな事を試したり、取り組んだり、新しいものもどんどん取り入れていってます。

そんなおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんのうちの一組のご夫婦からいろいろアイデアをいただいてます。

ご主人はウド（下記写真）や自然薯を村の名物として栽培、そして奥様は村で以前からあった伝統食を本にされたりしながら、さらに新しいものを研究されています。

その奥様が、昨年『やってみない？』とおっしゃったのが草木染と藍染。

ご本人は綾部展示会をするような作品としての藍染も作られていたが、いまは体のことも

ありやめていて、もし興味あれば伝授しますとのこと。

　『ここ市野瀬の大地で育った藍を、ここ水源の里の水と太陽で染める』

なんかそれっていいなと思い、宿の体験メニューに取り込むことに。

前勉強のため、昨年は藍染の本場徳島へ行き、トータスさんを見学、実際体験し面白さを実感。

そしてやっと春になり、種の植え付けの時期になりました。

ということで、そのじいちゃん、ばあちゃんに借りた畑。

当初はススキだらけだったものを、秋から刈ってはススキを少しづつおこしてきました。

ここを藍畑にしていきます。

Japan Blue 1

People of this village Ichinose, Ayabe, have tans of curiosity.

They try new things without any hesitation. Maybe that is why they accept me

here and treat me so nice.

One grandpa and grandma taught me lots of things and it gave me 

some idea for the guest house.one of them is indigo dye. 

That grandma used to dye things and made art work

Then from today I start new project. Project which people from other place can enjoy experience,

and locals can feel nostalgia and something new.

There are lots of abandon field here or others countryside, so I reuse it.

To grow indigo, at first I had to cultivate the field which Japanese pampas grass are grown so many

Since last year, from time to time, I mow those grass and dig them out.

Because of it, I finally cultivate some part of this field.

Then I will plant indigo seeds here soon.

里山田舎暮らし猫日記 13 / Diary of county cats 13

春らしくなってきましたが、家では。。

避妊手術後１か月もたち、猫娘は元気いっぱいです。
外は春らしい気候の日もありますが、朝晩、そして家の中はひんやりしているので、
隙あらば、膝の上にきたり、二人で引っ付いてます。

うっしーが寝ていると大抵ドラが上によりかかっており、寝苦しくないか心配。

あと最近外に野良の雄猫（たぶん）がさかってよってきており、だみ声で家に呼びかけています。
最初は反応していた猫娘も、最近はめっきり野良”おじさん”猫の事は無視しています。

Recent my sweet cat babies

It is getting warm recently, but it is still chilly at night and morning. also in my house, because of mountain behind, it is chilly even the daytime.

maybe that is why my cats come to sleep on my leg whenever I kick back.

Other things, speaking of Spring, some male cat came to my garden and mew even midnight.
At first, my cats seemed to be surprised and went to window to check it.

But recently they ignore this fat old cat guy.
so because maybe he felt they are not into him, he has not shown up today.
What a relief !!

里山田舎暮らし猫日記 12 / Diary of county cats 12

大人になった。

つい先日よりうちの猫娘のドラが発情期を迎えました。
よく鳴くし、おしりプリプリさせてました。

また夜泣きもするはで大変な１週間でした。
しかし大変なのは僕だけでなく、ドラも大変だったと思います。

うちの子らは家猫で外には出してないので、居るのは僕とうっしーだけで、何もしてあげられない。

はじめうっしーは驚いて、ドラにまたがり、首筋を噛んでいたので、『え、うっしーってオスなのか？』と思ってしまいましたが、
もちろんそんなこともなく、次にドラが発情したときは、ただしれっとみていたので、安心。

そしてやっと昨日２人とも合わせて手術をしてきました。一晩のお泊りのあと、
今朝迎えにいくと、ドラは食欲もあるし、家につくとウロウロあるいてましたが、
うっしーは麻酔や体力の消耗もあるのか、じっと黙ってコタツの中で、ご飯もすすんで
たべません。またなんかよそよそしくしています。

昼休みや夜家にかえっても同じところでいたので、薬と合わせて無理やり口開いて
食べさせました。

はやくいつものうっしーにもどってね。エリザベスカラーになれてない二人ははじめは戸惑って外そうとしていたが、今はなれたようです。でもなんか痛々しい。

Grown up !!!


A week ago, one of my cat girls, Dora reached mating season.
She cried a lot, and shake her butt.

At first I was surprised that she cried with different voice. and another girl Usshi mounted Dora's back.
so I thought whether she was actually male or not?

Secondly she cried even in the midnight. so not only Dora but also I had tough week.
Then yesterday at last, I took them to the animal hospital and had contraceptive operation.

After one night stay at the hospital, I picked them up today.
They have different reaction once they got home.
Dora who didn't like to examine at the hospital, but she acted normally, and ate food as usual.
But Usshi who had no problem at the hospital but once she get here, she didn't eat anything, and acted unfriendly just like she does't trust people.

Usshi stayed same place when I came home from work and didn't eat any.
So I decided to feed her forcibly with medicine. Finally she ate some.


I hope them to get better soon.
At the beginning, they didn't like Elizabethan collar at all. so they tried to take it out.
But now got used to it.

最近の猫娘の寝相。寒いからか、ぴたっと密着していることが

多いです。

上に乗られて重くないのかといつも思います。

あと顔をベタッと布団などに押し付けて、寝てる姿がゆるキャラ的で可愛い。

My cats are sleeping tight together.

I guess it is cold here.

but even so, one doesn't feel heavy when she is mounted by another.

and it is so cute when they sleep, pushing their faces to the blanket.

とうとう破りました～

猫娘の生まれ故郷徳島の神山から帰る途中徳島市で
ペットキャリーを購入し、綾部と大阪の移動時も使用していました。

以前も書きましたが、ドラのキャリーというか狭いところ？
嫌いはいまだ治らず
昨日綾部から大阪に帰る途中とうとう、キャリーののメッシュの部分を爪か歯で破りました。

運転途中に突然頭が出てびっくり、しかし本人も頭は
でたが、その後でることも、ひっこめることもできず、
ニャーニャーいってたので、キャリーの向きを変えると
更に新しく穴をあけ、今度は外に飛び出しました。
ちょうど近くにコーナンがあり、新しいのを買ったので、
無事帰れましたが、なんとかせなな～

Finally she did it!

When we came back with cats from Kamiyama cho in Tokushima, I stopped by Homecenter in Tokushima city.
Then we bought pet carry case.

Since then, I used it when I came back to Osaka from Ayabe. Every time we take a ride, Dora mews a lot.
She seems she doesn't like small places or car itself.

Anyway, yesterday when I drove to Osaka as usual,
suddenly cat's head came out from carry case.
I was so surprised that I almost crashed my car.

Fortunately, I found homecenter soon to buy new one.
I wonder how I can fix this problem
